CRISPY TOFU NUGGETS 🔥 if you think tofu is boring you might just be a bad cook… 😌🌱

Tofu is like a piece of paper. Not super interesting in itself, but you can paint it with all kinds of colors 🧑🏼‍🎨

RECIPE (3 portions)
- 400g tofu

Marinade:
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast

Batter:
- splash of plant milk
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (or vinegar)
- 70g flour

Breadcrumb mix:
- 80g (panko) breadcrumbs
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- salt and pepper

❶ Press the tofu to get rid of as much moisture as possible.
❷ Mix the ingredients for the marinade. Cut the tofu and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes or overnight.
❸ Mix the ingredients for the batter and breadcrumbs.
❹ Add the marinated tofu to the batter and then to the breadcrumb mixture.
❺ Pan-fry with a little oil in a pan until crispy and goldenbrown or bake in the oven for about 20 minutes at 180°C.
